Music Ministry
The Music Ministry at Mary of Magdala works in conjunction with the Liturgy Ministry to plan and provide music at liturgies and events that enhance the overall spiritual experience for the entire community. Members of the ministry work diligently to read the liturgical readings for any given Sunday, and then select and prepare music that enhances the theme of the liturgy. Suggestions for music for any given liturgy are always welcome from our community members.
The music is typically lead by a variety of mixed voices, guitar, piano, and flute. For more information please see Bill Smith, guitarist and leader of the music ministry.

About our Music
Mary of Magdala has chosen, and pays for copyright permission from the Oregon Catholic Press. The musicians, along with members of the liturgy committee, have compiled music from OCP that is continually updated to reflect and add to the Sunday liturgies. The chosen songs have traditional Catholic hymns, as well as a large collection of contemporary Christian compositions.
